Andrej started his career in 2002 in USA as a finance analyst in Sodexho Inc. In 2003 he joined Hrvatski Telekom as an Assistant in the office of Chief Financial Officer where he was in charge of treasury and corporate finance, after which he moved to Strategy Department and started managing strategic planning for all member companies of T-HT Group.
In 2007, he became a member of the Management Board of the Platinum Invest, a fund management company, where he stayed until 2008, when he sold his shareholding and became the Head of Corporate Finance within the Erste Group in charge of Croatian market with a focus on M&A projects, recapitalizations, and financial restructuring.
In the early 2010, he started Grubišić & Partners, a financial advisory company specializing in corporate finance. Andrej is responsible for business origination, developing conceptual models for project management, supervision and quality control, client advisory services and ensuring that all preconditions for closing transactions are met. From 2004 to 2018 Andrej was a Professor of Finance teaching undergraduate and MBA students at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, and since 2017 he has been a professor at the Luxembourg School of Business.
Andrej earned a Master's degree in Finance from Webster University in St. Louis (USA) in 2003, and received his PhD in 2007 from Business School Lausanne in Switzerland. He has completed executive education programs at Harvard and London Business School.
