Laursen founded Native Advertising Institute in 2014. Since then, it has quickly become the most relevant international platform that publishers, advertising agencies and experts use to share knowledge about native advertising. The Institute organizes an annual conference called the Native Advertising DAYS where entrepreneurs, creative minds, publishers, brands and agencies work together to build better and more effective native campaigns. The Native Advertising Awards are presented by the Native Advertising Institute and are currently recognized as the most relevant awards in the field of native advertising. They have been developed in order to drive investment and evolution in communication and media.
In 2008. and 2012. Laursen founded journalism production company Media Movers and content marketing agency Brand Movers. Together, both agencies produce more than two thousand articles, videos and infographics annually for a series of international news agencies and companies. Laursen is currently one of the most requested speakers in the field of content marketing and has participated in the world’s largest content marketing conferences. In the past two years alone, he has given talks at Content Marketing World Conference and Expo in Cleveland, Content Marketing Fast Forward in Amsterdam, FIPP World Congress in London and Digital Content Expo in Berlin.
